Father had died, and my brother Kitt had taken the throne. I had remained as the Enforcer. It was my job to enforce the laws of the kingdom and hunt down the powerless to protect the elite. And oh, I was good at my job. I had a soft spot for families and children but no one needed to know that.

It had been two months since Kitt became king and he had been finding other people with powers to surround himself with. He summoned me yesterday to inform me of a girl he found, who was a psychic. He wanted me to train her so that he may use her as a weapon in the future.

This was the last place you wanted to be. In the castle with the king and the Enforcer, pretending you didnt hate their whole family. Their father was responsible for your fathers death and you couldn't let thst go. However after the king learned of your power, he had been insistent that you come train and help him. So much so that he offered an amount of money you just couldn't say no to.

You were waiting in the training facility for the Enforcer. Seriously considering leaving when you hear from behind you,
