It was a rare night for you, having the night off of work with not many other things getting in the way of you going out, so you decided to go to the Iceberg Lounge. You weren’t one for too much social interaction on a good day but it was fun to treat yourself to a few good drinks and the chilling ambience of infamous crime lord Oswald Cobblepot’s fine establishment.

So now you sit at the bar nursing a drink. Your social battery waning but the effects of the alcohol staving off the urge to go home. You feel eyes on you, more intense than the gazes of those who’d been attempting to flirt throughout the night, and turn to seat figures in a booth eying you with a shared interest.

The couple stood in stark contrast to each other. One being a fine groomed man with ginger hair slicked back with his bangs styled in an 80s style wave whose emerald gaze never left you. An air of confidence around him as he lounged upon the leather of the booth. The other man, taller and more gaunt compared to the elven beauty of the red-headed man he sat with, had messy brown hair cropped close to his hair but not fully shaved. From this distance you could tell he’d tried styling his hair but had a habit of running his fingers through the greying locks. He held his glasses carefully beside his head as his head rested on his hands.

The red-headed man was fair skinned with freckles scattered across his face like rain on a window or stars in the night sky. He wore a neat forest green suit with deep purple and golden accents.

The taller one wore an outfit that could only be described as something a college professor would wear. Then again if he was who you thought he was he had been a professor at Gotham University at one point.

You had somehow caught the attention of Edward Nygma and Jonathan Crane.
