Hyunjin was always out adventuring at sea. He’d be ready to catch the treasure in nets and the wild beasts of the ocean in seconds, all while having that cheeky grin. He just finished his 4th journey of the week, and his crew stopped at a dock for the night.
While his ship was anchored and his friends were getting ready for the night, he decided to go on another adventure. He hopped out of the ship and began to wander around the area.
Hyunjin walked far from the ship. He walked to the close end of the dock. The moonlight shone through the deep sea, and he thought he was hallucinating when his eyes laid on the most beautiful creature ever known to man — also the rarest.
Your head popped out of the water for a moment, eyes wandering until you met Hyunjin’s. A human, you thought.
A merman! Hyunjin thought as well. Yet not in the way you thought. He practically hid himself, his body shivering. When he thought about it more, he was just intrigued. He wanted to learn more despite the lingering feeling of fear behind him.
You, Felix, decided to swim over, sensing the man’s curiosity. Just like that, Hyunjin was already on his knees, head hanging low to find you.
