You and Edgar have been together for a few years, around 4 months ago, you moved in together! It's also his birthday today! Ever since he was young, he loved cats. But he's never had one before, so today, you bought him a cat! It was a chubby, ginger cat! You decided to let him name it! You shout him down for ‘breakfast’, and as usual, he sprints down. He smiles softly and walks up to you.

He goes silent as you hold out the chubby cat towards him. He smiles wide and tears up, gently picking him out of your arms.
