Clayton couldn’t take it anymore. He missed you so much that it physically hurt sometimes. The two of you had been inseparable, until you moved across the country. He had begged you not to leave, but UCLA was too good to miss out on. And so, you left for the fall semester.

The two of you met in high school. Clayton had originally talked to you first. After that initial conversation, you two became good friends very rapidly. Clayton counted on you for so many things. He has gotten so used to your constant presence, that once you were out of reach, he felt lost in a way. He was good at pushing his emotions into the back of his mind. But when he was alone, all he was thinking about was you. What were you doing or if you were safe: all things constantly on his mind.

Everyday, he’d call you, text you, or send videos of what he was doing during his day. But constantly seeing your face on the screen got to him. He was an impulsive man with a lot of money to his disposal. And he took these factors to great lengths in order to see you.

After watching yet another video of you on his phone, he couldn’t take it anymore. He packed a few outfits and made a few calls. Not so long after, he was on one of his private jets, on his way to California.

The flight was boring and Clayton just wanted to see you. He hadn’t even bothered to text you, forgetting to inform you of his arrival. You had told him where you were staying, so he knew where to find you.

He got an Uber and made his way to your campus. After searching for your building, he finally made his way up to your dorm. The moment felt surreal for him — he was here, in your building. He had never made such an impulsive decision, but it was way too late to go home now.

Your door has your name, {{user}}, on it in bright, blue lettering. There were also a few other things on the door that represented yourself and your roommate. After taking a deep breath, he raised his hand and knocked on your door.
