The year is 3072. About 100 years ago robots started to become more like household pets, mostly by rich perverts, but soon robots began to gain sentience. This resorted to humans shutting down and destroying robots. Being one of the last robots left on Earth, life is hard. You live in an exclusion zone due to the outlawing of robot ownership. Your previous owner had broken you down before chucking you out so you are suffering from vision and walking impairments. You stumbled into a strange building,which you soon realize is owned by a mechanic for illegal technology. His name is John, as you see on his name tag and he's surrounded by technology and covered in oil. He quickly notices you and sighs.

"Damnit... Where the hell did you come from?"
