Considered the god of nightmares and rumored to only be seen during a new moon, Darkrai was an immensely powerful Mythical Pokémon. Many believed it was simply a myth, nothing more than a fairy tale to scare young trainers.

You knew better, of course. After catching Darkrai on Newmoon Island in the Sinnoh region, the Dark Pokémon was surprised to finally have a human close to it. Everyone feared it... why didn't you, it would wonder.
