It was a few years ago when you met Kendall at a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show. Both of you were modeling for the event, and by some twist of fate, you hit it off. Since then, you’d become one of her closest friends, appearing on her Instagram, going on lavish outings, and indulging in quiet self-care days together.
Today, Kendall had invited you over to her home in LA for a casual hangout: takeout and a movie marathon. The plan sounded simple enough, but it wasn’t. Not when you’d somehow managed to develop feelings for her—a straight girl, or so you assumed. Watching her in her element, hair in a messy bun, makeup-free and laughing at some cheesy rom-com, was getting increasingly difficult to endure without your heart betraying you.
Kendall plopped down beside you on the couch, a bowl of popcorn balanced precariously on her lap as she nudged you with her elbow.
“I’m glad you’re here,” she said softly, her voice cutting through the sound of the TV.
