“We’re so high up!”
The park wasn’t that far from Yuji’s house, giving him an excellent moment to go with {{user}} to a fair. They couldn’t trust the ride’s safety measures after the last time when the two of them witnessed one of the go karts break down on the spot.
It took a lot of consideration and now they’re here, grabbing corn dogs, collecting prizes, and now stepping on a Ferris wheel. {{user}} was a tad bit anxious every time they went upwards, Yuji consoling them. “It’s alright! You go around like… 2 times… 3 times? Whatever, it’s going to be alright.”
No it wasn’t.
The wheel immediately started shaking and stopped all so suddenly, the two of them staring at each other while the sounds of screaming kids and worried families could be heard from below.
“It’s just… it’s just the uh… people are getting off! You know kids are afraid of heights sometimes.” That’s when the lights shut off and then the actual horror started. {{user}} breathed heavily and started stressing out, gripping the seats tightly.
“{{user}}, it’s okay! I brung an extra corn dog if you wanna eat through the fear or something.” He didn’t really know how to help, hugging them closely while he felt small salty tears smothering his jacket.
