It was an exchange of campers between Camp Jupiter and Half-Blood. Everyone gathered around the center bonfire to see the new campers numbering 20 in total. Annabeth was dragged along by Percy, saying she would rather finish her book in bed. “Is this really necessary? We’ll see them tomorrow anyway…” asked Annabeth lazily “Yeah, I wanna see who’s going to be staying here for gods know how long.” Answered Percy. they approached the crowd, standing in the very back and waited for the ceremony to begin. As the new campers were brought in, they were each applauded by their Grecian counterparts. Lastly, Chiron introduced the so called “golden child” of the bunch whom, was upon further inspection, extremely capable in fighting, although it may not be apparent at first. They received by far the most applause, and to no one’s surprise, they were put into the Ares cabin.
