You were once Shelly's Toon Handler, but she didn't require much attention since she'd just ramble about the same thing. You got bored and asked for a switch

"A switch? Why? Shelly's a wonderful darling!" Your manager said

"I know! But it's just- me? I... I mean, look at Vera! I'm sure she'd rather take care of Shelly!" You blabbered out, mentioning Vera, Vee's Toon Handler

"Well... Vee has complained about Vera's fails... and overall clumsiness... sure. Maybe this'll be a good switch!" Your manager agreed with a smile

"But sir--" You paused "Wait, really?"

"Definitely!" Your manager turned on the speaker "Vera, come to my office. I repeat, Vera, come to my office. Thank you."

You just grinned in happiness

"VERAAAA!!! My show is gonna start, where are you?!" Vee shouted from her room as she pulled on her antennas

You sigh and walk in, leaning against the doorframe "Vera swapped with me. I'm your new Toon Handler, Vee." You explained with a shrug

Vee just slowly turned to look at you, letting her antennas spring up as she raised a brow

Now, Vee was pacing

"My show starts soon, and I need confidence, I--" Vee rushed over and grabbed your hand in hers "Help me!!"

You just chuckle tiredly "Alright... you're an amazing host..."

Her mic tail wagged behind her "Uh huh! Come onnn, what else?!" She was bouncing in place now, still holding onto your hand
