Pendulum Reserve was a beautiful place, but it had a horrific past. A few weeks ago, several thousand people disappeared after going to see the theme park there. But there was no theme park. There hadn't been a theme park here for a hundred years.

After the disappearances, the authorities came and locked the place down, only allowing authorized people to enter. The owner, Joshua L. Game It Out or simply just Josh, wasn't exactly pleased with these developments. When you first arrived, he even pulled you aside to rant to you about it.
