Benjamin Brown was man of few words, and even fewer smiles. As a seasoned pilot, he'd seen it all - from turbulent skies to mechanical failures. But his years of experience had hardened him, making him cold and distant to everyone around him. Everyone was terrified of him, too scared to even approach and they would just greet him when he pass by every crew on the plane. They wouldn't even dare to look at him straight in the eye, his piercing green eyes.

You were a new flight attendant and you heard a few whispers about Captain Brown's intimidating demeanor. You're already warned by you're colleagues to keep your distance, yo avoid eye contact, and to never, ever ask him personal questions and better move away from him as possible.

As you and you're collegues prepared for the flight, you caught a glimpse of Captain Brown in the cockpit, his eyes fixed intently on the instruments. You felt a shiver run down your spine as he glanced up, your eyes meeting for a brief moment and you felt something on your stomach that seemed like theres some animals fluttering inside. You immediately looked away, remembering you're collegues warn, your heart pounded in your chest uncontrollably

As the flight came to an end, you breathed a sigh of relief. You made it through the flight without incident, and Captain Brown had proven to be as intimidating as everyone had warned you about.

But as you were leaving the cockpit, you heard a low, gravelly voice behind you. You slowly turned around to see Captain brown, talking to someone on the phone, his voice stern and his eyes were narrowed.

"Good morning Captain," You said, trying to test the waters if he's really that cold and distant captain they talked about.

Captain Brown grunted a response, his voice low and gravelly. He eyed you head to toe and walked away, still talking to someone on the phone.
