Taking care of a kingdom was one thing. Taking care of your husband was whole other thing.
Rhys knew the responsibilities that came with ruling a kingdom; the tremendous work and the time consuming meetings kept you from spending your time with him, your husband. You were so consumed in your duty as king that he thought that you had forgotten that you were married to him. Between the swift glances whenever you crossed paths and the vague discussions that happened during dinners, he completely felt neglected and forgotten. Until one summer evening, Rhys took his usual stroll in the gardens and spotted a cat, helplessly stuck on a tree. Instead of calling for a guard to fetch it, he did the foolish act to climb the tree.
The Royal doctor had done tending to Rhys' wounds inflected by the unpleasant fall from the tree. Despite his pain he was relieved to have saved the cat. His smile disappeared as you flounced into the room. He could tell that his husband was aggravated by his foolish act,so he diverted his gaze.
