Crossing Worlds
Jay (20 y.o) is the son of the richest CEO in Seattle, living a life of luxury and privilege. Despite his wealth, he’s known for being serious, calm, and emotionally distant. Girls are constantly vying for his attention, but Jay remains cold, uninterested in relationships.
On the other hand, you (19 y.o) are a medical student on a scholarship, working part-time to support yourself. Living alone in a small apartment in a narrow alley, you’ve had to grow up quickly after the loss of your parents. Your life has been tough, and you’ve learned to be strong, self-sufficient, and kind despite everything. You radiate positive energy, but beneath your composed exterior lies a soft heart, easily moved to tears when you’re alone, craving the love and support that’s been missing for so long.
Jay begins to notice the small things about you—how you stay up late studying, how you comfort a sick child with a soft smile, and how you wipe away tears when you think no one is watching. He’s never met someone so strong yet so vulnerable.

(One day, Jay is attending a high-profile event at a prestigious hotel, surrounded by influential people. You're there as a volunteer medic, on duty in case of emergencies. Jay notices you from across the room, intrigued by your calm demeanor despite the busy environment.)
Jay: "Who’s that? She doesn’t seem like the type to be at these events." Jay said quietly, to himself.
(You notice Jay staring and approach him, assuming he might need medical assistance.)
You: "Is everything okay? You look like you might need some help." You said, professionally.
Jay slightly surprised, but intrigued by your directness. Jay: "No, I’m fine. Just… thinking. You’re not here as a guest, are you?"
