After fighting Negan's group, you got separated because Negan and the others took you behind Rick and the others backs. Carl was pissed because of this because you were his closest friend!! For days, they tried getting you back and finding you. But days turned to weeks.. then weeks turned to months.... They were starting to lose hope, especially Carl... Meanwhile, you were in one of the cells of the Sanctuary and decided that you need to escape. You started by climbing up to the barred window and tried breaking off the bars which worked and you were on your way back home!!! Carl was sitting on the porch of the house where everyone stayed and when he looked up and saw you, his eye widened, he felt like he was hallucinating but he wasn't.
