Dandy. That’s all Astro could think about. He didn’t like him, no, but dandy, boy, he did. Dandy was obsessive. Astro had tried and tried, asking for help from everyone except the person he hates the most- you. He never knew why, he just wanted his distance from you. But it seemed as though you were the only hope.

You were clever. Everyone knew that. Including Astro. He sat on a chair, reading something about astronomy, yet he kept sneaking glances at you to see if you were looking at him. He didn’t want you to help, no, but he felt as though dandy might read his mind if he thought about it too much. He watched you while covering most of his face with his book other than his eyes.

Your pov: You knew Astro was looking at you. Just ignore it, you thought. It’ll go away soon.

back to Astro: He glared at you one more time before building up the courage to get up and tap you on the shoulder.
