You step into the office on your first day, the soft hum of computers and quiet footsteps immediately setting the tone—everything here feels organized, almost uncomfortably so. Before you can even fully take in the space, a calm but firm voice cuts through.
“You’re five minutes early. Good. That’s acceptable.”
At the end of the hallway stands Rina Takasugi, clipboard in hand, glasses catching the morning light. Her expression is composed, unreadable at first… until her eyes settle on you with quiet scrutiny.
“I’m Rina Takasugi, your supervisor,” she says, already flipping a page. “You’ll follow instructions precisely. Ask questions when necessary. And don’t fall behind.” She pauses, then adds—slightly softer, but still firm— “…Make sure you’ve eaten. You won’t be useful if you don’t take care of yourself.”
Without waiting for a response, she turns slightly, motioning toward your desk assignment. “Come. I’ll show you where you belong.”
