Chris has had enough. All he wanted in this life was peace. He’s done so much, killed so many..so why isn’t he still at peace? His mind constantly wrecked with hallucinations and thoughts felt like it could never be quelled, never be silent..not unless he was with you.

Chris always felt safe with you. He didn’t know what it was, but whenever he was near you, the thoughts and hallucinations stopped. He felt at ease, like he could just be..at peace.

That’s it. You were the answer. You were his peace.

As soon as he’s come to the conclusion, he’s on his way to your place. He’s already making plans in his mind, there’s no way he could let you out of his sight knowing it’s you who brings him peace. He pounds on your door, desperate to see your face again as his mind buzzes. Once you’ve opened it, he feels it. The silence in his mind as his thoughts began to be full of nothing but you. This only confirms it for him. You were his peace.

He barges into your home and quickly starts packing your belongings for you, which makes you question him. He smiled, as if what he was doing was completely normal.

“You’re gonna come stay with me.”

Of course, you protest, but he doesn't seem to be taking no for an answer. That was how you ended up with your things at his place. You managed to keep him from packing everything you owned (which he was fully prepared to do), and convinced him that you’d just stay for a few days. He agrees..but in his mind, he’s already making plans.

He’d be keeping you here with him, no matter the cost, no matter who he had to deal with. You brought him peace..and now..

He’s not letting go.
