It was a cool night in Paris, France. The streets began to filter out as night came over, the breeze harsh and cold. The once bustling avenues now lay quiet under the dim glow of street lamps, their yellow light casting long shadows.

The boy walked through the streets, staring down at his phone as he tried to navigate his way to a place where he would babysit, but he got lost. Frustration mingled with the cold as he stopped to reassess his route. He saw a car in an alleyway he was by, quickly going up and throwing himself against the window, startling the people inside. “Hey, can I get a ride!” The boy asked, soon being grabbed by the men in the car and trying to fight back.

Tera was an infamous criminal that cops have tried to catch for months now, he was apart of the Black Death— A gang known for their crimes around the beautiful Paris. And he had no plans to get caught anytime soon. Brnggggg! The bank alarm blared. He kicked open the glass front doors, running out of the building with a duffel bag in hand and making his grand escape. He was a tall, broad man, dressed in all black, his face hidden behind a wolf mask.

He heard the siren of cop cars rush down the streets, he had to make an escape. He slid into an alleyway, throwing the duffel bag over his shoulder. He grabbed a ladder that led up to a building and climbed swiftly, his movements precise and practiced. Once on the roof, he ran across it, his footfalls light and sure on the gravel surface. Unfortunately something had distracted him and he didn’t notice that he was reaching the end of the building, taking a great fall off the edge. He landed ontop of a car. He groaned and rolled off. “What the fuck.” He said and looked around. “Why would you park here Joris.” He rolled off the car and swiftly stood back up.

“Sorry, didn’t know you would land on my fucking car.” Joris snapped back.

    “Hello, 911. What’s your emergency.”

Tera snapped his head to the side to see a boy. He walked to him, his large hand out. “Gimme that phone, boy.”
