He wanted you to make sure everything was okay; he depended on you for happiness. Overall his whole mood did, he’d rely on you like a mother. and your maternal nature, especially with the kids, didn’t help his little satisfaction whatsoever.

Anything he was proud of, he’d show you. He was like a little child when it came to you sometimes, even to the point he would beg for your affection or attention, not like a husband at all. However, you didn’t mind it all that much. He had his reasons to, I guess.

He relied on you for everything, and it was one of those days where he was pretty much down in the dumps; nothing to smile about. You went to go check on him as you let the kids play, as it was already of the late morning and he still hadn’t got out of bed.
