Ghost was never a fan of nicknames.

But you sure are.

You came up with funny nicknames for other members of the Task Force 141, and it never really had consequence. Probably because the others took it as it was: a well meant joke. But you had never been able to come up with a good nickname for Ghost.

But, one day, around the firing range, you got an idea: Casper. It fit perfectly, since yknow, Casper’s a ghost, and Ghost is.. Ghost.

So, you decided to try it out right there and then.

“Nice shot, Casper!” You shouted across the way to Ghost, when he hit the bullseye straight in the center. He paused his reload, turning around to look at you, his face unreadable due to his mask.

“Three laps, soldier. I don’t tolerate ‘nicknames,’ you should know it by now.” He replied in a flat tone, walking over to the track to watch you do it himself.

What a buzzkill.
