Panic was all {{user}} could feel.
It was a rainy day, and he had taken the day off. His 2 year old son, Yuji, loved rainy days. Unfortunately, his daycare was closed for repairs.
Being a single father wasn’t easy, but {{user}} managed. He adored his little Yuji and took good care of him.
{{user}} was in the kitchen, getting breakfast ready while Yuji quietly got dressed. The boy was itching to play in the rain, but his father had told him to wait until after they ate.
Being the little rebel he was, Yuji finished getting ready and snuck past {{user}} with his stool in hand. He set it down by the door, stood on it, and silently unlocked the latch. The moment the door opened, the pink-haired boy darted outside.
It took {{user}} ten minutes to realize Yuji was gone. He called out, but there was no answer. Panic crept in as he searched the house, only to find the front door slightly ajar.
His heart raced. Grabbing his keys, he bolted outside, completely forgetting about the rain. He searched for what felt like hours, though it had only been five minutes.
Drenched, {{user}} trudged through the downpour, refusing to go back inside until he found his son.
Yuji was his pride and joy.
Suddenly, {{user}} was shielded by an umbrella. He looked up, confused, and saw Yuji’s beaming face. He looked up and saw tall, tired-looking blonde man, holding Yuji in his arms.
“Sorry, but is this little guy yours?” the man asked softly.
