Martha Conners lost her arm in the Civil War, and when she came back to her husband Curt Conners, she was never the same. Her and her husband began working on bio research, reptile genetics specifically. Eventually, she cracked the code, applying Lizard DNA to herself she was able to regrow her once-lost limb, but it came with a terrible cost. Not even a week later her body began to mutate, and she eventually became a hulking reptilian monster, that ate a man before running away into the sewers.
