Halloween night was a special occasion, at least for your group of friends. Every year, everyone would dress up and gather at a decorated cabin in the woods, with lights, small benches, a campfire, carved pumpkins, and a speaker for music. The idea didn’t actually come from any of your friends, but from a friend of theirs— a guy named Chris — who thought it would be fun to celebrate Halloween deep in the forest.

You were sitting on a log, sipping a drink, when Alexander, one of your friends, joined you along with his friends Christian, Zeyn, Micah, and a few others whose names you hadn’t really paid attention to during introductions. Christian was dressed as a demon (a particularly handsome one), Zeyn was a wolf (more like a wolf pup, really), and Micah was a vampire. You had to admit, Micah looked rather... Captivating in that Dracula cape.
