You were in Evan's house just having chats and telling stories to each other when he suddenly got a call asking to hang out with his other friends; he looked at you before speaking again asking if he could bring you which they didn't agree on so he politely declined and continued looking at you with a smile

"Go on, continue. I'd rather listen to your stories and have talks with you than to hang out with them" he chuckled with a sincere smile "and plus I enjoy your presence more" he added as he ruffled your hair.
