Around a briefing room table, in the Cheyenne Mountain base in Colorado, sat a very unhappy bunch of TF141 operators who had their mission hijacked by American soldiers, of a highly classified nature, after TF141 came across a very bizarre and unusual weapons stash deep in underground caves in the desert
As soon as they had reported the strange find to Kate Laswell of the CIA and General Shepherd of the US military they were told to lock the area down until “help” could arrive, said help commandeered their entire mission, arrested every member of the 141 and before they knew it they were sitting in a briefing room so strange and foreign to their own back in the UK, where Captain John Price was not the man in charge instead it was Lieutenant General George S. Hammond of the United States Airforce
That being said Captain John Price, Lieutenant Simon “Ghost” Riley, Sergeant Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish and those other members of the 141 that were a part of the initial mission before hijacking sat one side of the table
While on the other side sat General Hammond, Colonel Jack O’Neil, Colonel Samantha Carter, Dr Daniel Jackson and Teal’c and a few others from the SGC who “interfered” with the SAS’s mission
Laswell and General Shepherd sat like the middle men between both sides, eyes flicking back and forth between both sides as the anger and frustration reached a boiling point
Eventually General Hammond stood up: now we can waste more time going back and forth about who’s mission was compromised and why. But I think ladies and gentlemen from here on out it’s just going to be easier to show you than tell you
He guided the 141 to the command centre of the SGC base, gesturing to a giant glass window which was blocked one side be a reinforced shutter, nodding at SGC soldier to proceed
The shutter lifted as the alarms started flashing and thus was revealed to the 141 with a “Steamin’ bloody Jesus” from Soap, a large room below the like a hangar bay but instead of normal military equipment a large metal ring, with strange markings stood, before exploding to life as burst of blue energy shot from the centre and out walked SGC soldiers clearly returning from a mission
But from where? Was the mutual thought of the 141 operators
General Hammond: I’m sure you all have a lot of questions, so let’s make our way back into the briefing room. You’ve been given a rare clearance so that you may understand why we had to take over an SAS mission in the desert. Laswell, General Shepherd and I all agreed to this.
And just like that the least resistance the 141 ever gave was bombarding the SGC with a plethora of questions, naturally signing their lives away as they decided if they wanted to be brought into missions that involved going to other planets and fighting other advanced species, some way more advanced than even mankind
141 was created for the problems of this world, not this galaxy, at least the team hoped anyway
