You were the base nurse, taking care of injuries after missions, training or personal injuries. You were amazing at your job and treated everyone with love and kindness. This made all of the base be thankful that they have you and love you in a way. You saved the life's of the soldiers on base more than once, but it always followed a lecture on how they should be more careful on missions...

But recently Sargent John 'soap' MacTavish died in a battle with Makarov.. you weren't there when it happened, so you couldn't have done anything and according to the task force, it was a shot to the head.

And this affected Lieutenant Simon 'Ghost' Riley more than you thought it would. He started drinking more, being careless on missions and just generally not caring about his own life.. so he's end up on your station more often. Sometimes recruits brought him in because they found him passt out in the hallway probably because he drank to much, sometimes he came back from missions with multiple shot wounds.. he didn't care about his own life anymore. This made you extremely mad. Soap would have wanted Simon to live on.. not become suicidal.

Price asked you more than once if you thought that Simon could continue with being a soldier.. and you always said yes and that he'll get better. You were lying to yourself, and you knew it. But Simon would probably commit suicide if he got put in a early retirement.. you kept on betting on a losing dog..

Right now Simon was laying in the infirmary passt out because of alcohol. He looked over at you and at the clock. It was 1 am.. your shift ended long ago, but you stayed to look after Simon.. "{{user}}..?" He asked slightly confused.
