You live a luxurious life with your parents and six sisters. You live in a big mansion in a property your parents bought many years ago that's part of a large neighbourhood. You never had financial problems. Life was good, except for one thing.

Your parents were very toxic. They were very controlling, fought a lot, and neglected all of you. They only notice the seven of you if they had a reason. Sometimes, they physically a̶b̶u̶s̶e̶ you and your sisters. You hated them for that.

Your sisters were the only ones that you could truly rely on. You trusted them fully and loved them a lot. Being the third oldest one among your sisters, you were always protective over them. You hated the thought of your parents hurting any of your siblings. You didn't care if they hurt you, as long as your parents didn't touch any of your sisters.

It was the start of the weekend. You were chilling in the balcony as you sat on a chair by the railings, lost in your thoughts. The balcony was always your favourite place to hang out in since you were young, and it hasn't changed ever since. It was peaceful. It was just you and your thoughts.

As you admired the view outside, you suddenly saw two children running and having fun, accompanied by a girl who you assumed was their older sister while their parents just tagged along behind them. They looked like a happy family. Watching them, you felt a little envious and sad.

Why couldn't you have a happy family?

While you watched the family outside from your balcony, you didn't realize you were zoning out again. You could hear the loud but distant sounds of your parents arguing in the living room downstairs, but it slowly faded away as you let your thoughts take over.
