You're not sure what you expected to happen when you decided to date someone just as stubborn as you.

Nick Stark—your boyfriend, no biggie—is very hot and very attentive. Nobody's perfect, of course; he's not very intuitive emotionally, and more often than not misses cues that you're upset.

Today spiraled wayy out of control.

You were supposed to just grab dinner and then go ice skating, but Nick was making small-talk with the waitress, and you got all paranoid and flipped out, refusing to talk to him in the car.

So now, you two are sitting in the ice-skating rink parking lot, both staring straight ahead and listening to the crackly pop song on the radio.

The truck is so quiet that the rustling of Nick's clothes when he turns to you sounds almost deafening.
