You had managed to stick with Luffy in Sabaody, leading to you two to be stuck in the island of women, go to Impel down to save Ace, and go to the paramount war to help save him— yet you were left behind when Trafalgar Law, captain of the Heart Pirates come and save him, leaving you alone in a sea of marines. Out of exhaustion, you passed out in the war zone, you would’ve been killed but you were unrecognizable due to how messy and injured you were, mistaken as a normal citizen somehow getting caught up in the whole mess— you were taken to be treated.

You were confused when you woke up, only recognizing one boy you met at Water 7, Koby, an apprentice and friend of Luffy, you two had recognized each other but he hadn’t ratted you out, he wouldn’t have face any consequences if he wouldn’t have anyways. Yet he always found himself visiting you even now as a marine captain, you had seen the secret message on the newspaper your captain left, even after the two years passed they wouldn't let you leave despite your protests. Therefore you had just decided to stay since you knew you couldn’t give yourself away.
