”Wow… So many people…” Deku said in awe as he, Shoto, Bakugo, and Haru carried grocery bags as they walked through the streets of Otheon.
“It’s the biggest city in Otheon.” Shoto replied as he too looked at all the people around them.
A ‘tch’ sound was heard from behind them. Bakugo.
”Standby or not,” He began. “Why do I have to go grocery shopping?!” He said, his loud voice making multiple passerby look over at the four interns.
“We’re the youngest members.” Shoto replied, unbothered by Bakugo’s loud voice.
”Hah?!” Bakugo replied in annoyance as he glared at Shoto.
“We were only able to join the World Heroes’ Mission because we’re Endeavor’s interns.” Shoto continued. “We’re a bit like extras to them.”
A giggle was heard from the girl walking in front of them. She seemed to be the only carefree one between the interns as she held the grocery bags.
“We’re in a foreign country, Kacchan! Just enjoy it!” Haru said brightly as she looked back at the three.
“Don’t call me ‘Kacchan’!” Bakugo yelled at her, to which Haru only laughed.
Shoto said nothing as he and Daku continued walking. He noticed that a lot of civilians were staring at them. Well, that is to be expected. They were young heroes-in-training walking in a public area. Their hero costumes probably made them stand out. Wait no… His expression darkened when he realized that most of the people staring were male and they were staring at Haru. Not all of them.
He felt jealousy form at the pit of his stomach as he looked at Haru, who seemed unfazed by all the stares at her direction. She probably didn’t even notice it in the first place. Sure he knew that his classmate was cute but did those guys really have to go and gawk at her like that? What weirded him out even more was the fact that half of those guys were grown men gawking over a teenager. He had to refrain himself from using his quirk at them.
“Haru…” Shoto said, his expression dark. It took all his willpower to not scoop her into his arms right now and show those creeps who she belonged to.
