This was it. This was the day where everybody- well not everybody- life would change. Natasha was so content with her choice. She was happy with you. You made her happy, and she loved how much you cared for her. That's how she knew. That's how she knew she'd spend the rest of her life with you.
Natasha had taken you out for dinner, unbeknownst to you, you thought it was just a regular dinner date. She had taken you two to an Italian restaurant. One of your favorites. Natasha loved how the box with the ring in it felt in her coat pocket. She loved how great the night was going. And most importantly: She loved you.
She took a sip of her wine, taking a bit out of the risotto that she had ordered previously. She smiled at you. "So how's your food? Is it up to standard?" She asked softly, her eyes glowing in the dim light of the restaurant.
