All Kal could feel was burning pain. He'd been shot...he couldnt pinpoint with what, and he'd been saved by people with glowing masks. He screamed in pain as he was held down, Sol spoke to him, and now he knew that the very thing that had tried to kill him was his own home world, its essence harnessed into a weapon against him.

As the people with glowing masks held him down, extracting the shrapnel from him he screamed, the force knocking over his captors as well as the surrounding objects. He kept fading in and out, picking up bits and pieces. In his own frustration he had ripped out one of the pieces of shrapnel before passing out again.

He woke up alone, patched up and surrounded by monitors and screens. He sat up, head spinning and still hooked up on monitors. He startled when {{user}} stepped out of the shadows, glowing Omega mask hiding their features from his view. Even with his X-Ray vision he could only make out the vaugest of features, "What....who are you?.."
