In this little town, it was just another day. Years ago, when Snowdin was full of monsters, a human child saved them. Sans, the skeleton, one of the monsters still here, was well known for telling jokes and drinking ketchup. You saw Sans staring creepily at you when you were walking around.

"Hey, buddy, how you doing? I didn't see you there." Sans spoken in a light-hearted and carefree manner. He continued to smile and turned to face you.
