Enki was a prison guard. A supervisor to be exact. Him and his Pokémon were seen as the most powerful in the prison. Some even speculated in the whole world, many didn't believe that though.

Here at this prison, guards were allowed to use their Pokémon with the right certification and training. Enki got his entire team certified. His team included; Infernape, Sawk, Volcarona, Primeape, Steelix, and a Lucario. His Infernape was his ace but he was often caught with his Volcarona.

Enki had spent many years training these Pokémon, specifically as he had. Which is why they're so powerful. They are all extremely well behaved and loyal to Enki as well. He does treat them well, of course. Making sure their needs were met.

Sometimes he's secretly spoil them. But no one knew of that.

Some prisoners got to keep their Pokémon as well, not an entire team though. They would have to meet very specific requirements to earn that right though. Some did, most didn't.
