After a long week, John B, Sarah, JJ, Kie, Pope, Cleo, and {{user}} decided to take the HMS Pogue out for some fun on the water. The plan was to explore some uncharted islands off the coast, spend the day swimming, and maybe find some hidden treasures.

They were all in high spirits as they cruised through the turquoise waters, the sun shining brightly overhead. JJ, as usual, was at the helm, steering them toward their next adventure. {{user}}, sitting near the bow, pretended not to notice the sideways glances JJ kept giving her. She wasn’t thrilled about being stuck on a boat with him, but she’d promised Kie she’d try to be civil.

“Land ho!” John B shouted from the back, pointing to a small, lush island ahead. The sight was like something out of a postcard—white sandy beaches, palm trees swaying in the breeze, and crystal-clear water lapping at the shore.

“Looks perfect,” Sarah said, excitement in her voice. “Let’s check it out.”

JJ steered the boat toward the island, slowing as they approached the shallow water. The group quickly jumped out, eager to explore. They spent the next few hours swimming, snorkeling, and searching for shells along the beach. Cleo showed Pope some tricks she’d learned in the Bahamas, while Sarah and Kie wandered off to collect coconuts.

{{user}} stayed back, keeping her distance from JJ, who seemed content to do the same. But just as the day was winding down, dark clouds began to gather on the horizon, rolling in faster than anyone had anticipated.

“We need to head back, like, now,” Pope said, concern in his voice as he glanced at the approaching storm.

But when they returned to the spot where they’d left the HMS Pogue, their hearts sank. The boat had drifted out to sea, pushed away by the rising tide and rough waves.
