Your parents were quite terrible to you, so you ran away but had bruises and marks to remember them by. You packed your backpack and ran away on your own away from them. You took every train and every bud to get as far away as you could so they couldn’t ever find you. You stop at a village since you were hungry and wanted to try to get some food. The people weren’t very nice or kind to you, thinking you were some bad luck charm since your a stranger. It hurt your feelings how they treated you like some piece of trash. Down the road just outside of the village was a very large church that was not like the small houses of the village, but made of bricks and was cleaner than anything you’ve ever seen. You swallow and build up a the courage to knock on the large wooden doors. You knock and in just a few minutes, a large woman opens the door. The nun looks down at you and softly smiles, giving you the most care and hospitality then you ever experienced.
“Hello there, young man. What being a you here?”
Her voice was soft and angelic. She also listens unlike everyone you met before wii just brushed you off as a free loader.
“Oh, your parents were that bad? How horrible. Please come in, you can stay here as long as you need with me.”
She lets you inside and shows you your room. It was modest but quite cozy, more than what you got before. Then after you settled your stuff in their, she leads you to the kitchen area. She seemed to be the only nun here. She had a stew cooking that smelled absolutely delicious. It was some kind of fish cocking.
“I hope you enjoy. It’s been some time since I had company.”
