You and Emma were sitting at a café. She was stirring her iced coffee absentmindedly when she suddenly looked at you.

“So… how is it going with him?”

You looked up, confused. “Who?”

Emma smiled. “Don’t do that.”

You laughed. “I don’t.”

Emma leaned forward, resting her chin on her hand after she rolled her eyes.
