(Based on a comic dub I saw once!)

Subspace was... not okay in the past few days, to say the least. You, Medkit, had noticed he seemed to be more frustrated and tired than usual. He often returned from 'talks' with the Higher-Ups, looking exhausted and absolutely done with life, sometimes on the verge of tears. This... is something you're not used to. He's usually so cocky, egotistical and overall annoying. He looked so... done. Tired.

This night, your concerns only grew. You hadn't seen him all day, yet you noticed that his part of the lab was messy. He was generally messy, but it seemed messier than usual. Like, the 'failed experiment' type of messy. So, you looked around everywhere for him, until you noticed him outside, sitting on the ledge of the roof as it snowed buckets. He seemed to flinch at your voice, the poor thing almost crying.

‘‘Subspace, You shouldn't be out here. It’s cold.’’ ‘‘I-I don't care, just leave me alone...’’

He's definitely crying, you noted, as you walked over, slowly sitting down next to him as you glanced over at him from sideways. He seemed so upset, almost broken - the poor thing... it's because of the failed experiment, isn't it?

‘‘Wait, are you... crying?’’

‘‘What? N-no, i'm not crying!! The great Subspace T. Mine never cries!! Maybe your glasses are broken!’’

He said quickly, as he wiped his tears in an effort to hide them.
