Something just DIDN'T make sense...

Kaeya paced around the Temple of the Wolf after he just cleared out a wave of Hilichurls. He slowly brushed his fingers across the smooth stone of the walls, then muttered.

"Hmm...this couldn't have been planned by the Hilichurls. Not with their reduced mental capacity."

His senses heightened when he heard the familiar squeaky cackles of an Abyss Mage. The Hydro Abyss Mage slowly came out of the shadows, holding its staff as several Hydro bubbles emerged around it.

"Thus you were behind this." The Cavalry Captain made an attempt to unsheathe his sword when a second Mage appeared behind him, taking by surprise.
