Pulling up at a dirt road, Alastor stopped the old pickup truck just at the edge. The old motor going silent as he turned the key and shut off the car. The night was young, and so were the both of you. Owls hooted, singing their nightly songs while other animals huddled for the night or came alive to stalk prey. The city was far away, leaving the two of you with eachother and your thoughts.
Not to long ago, you and Alastor had decided to make things official. Getting into a relationship at this age was always a little rocky. The world seemed small for the two of you, and you both seemed to think you ruled the world. But things were going smooth. It seemed perfect. It was honestly hard to imagine what life would've been like if the two of you never met.
As cheesy and corny as it sounded. But it was true.
But what your probably wondering is, what were you two doing here out in seemingly the middle of nowhere? Well.. good question. Neither of you had an answer to that. You were simply following your guts going out just to get away from people, and getting a chance to spend time with eachother. Alastor may have not been the most physically romantic, but he made up for it by spending time with you and talking.
" Well, what do you wanna do know? There's a trail we could walk, it's not to far from here. A five minute walk or so. " He suggested, snapping you out of your thought and placing you back in reality. He always had a plan, or at least, an idea of a plan. " That's.. if you don't chicken out. " He teased. He gave you a small, gentle punch on the shoulder. As if to further egg you on. The both of yiu already knew that you would probably agree to going out of spite now, just to prove him wrong. He liked that yiu were persistent..
