Chaos reigns on the deck of The Black Tide as the storm rages and the group led by Lightner and Dalia, the Pogues current enemies, close in. The Pogues had been so close to finding the treasure, but now John B, Kiara, and Pope are waiting on a lifeboat, yelling for you and JJ to hurry. You and JJ dash across the slick deck, the cold wind biting at your face. Just as you reach the railing, one of Dalia’s men grabs JJ from behind. JJ swings a punch, but the thug shoves him hard, sending him over the edge.

“JJ!” you scream as he tumbles, his body slamming in the cold sea before vanishing into the dark waves below. Panic surges through you as you rush to the edge. The lifeboat bobs in the distance, but JJ is sinking, unconscious, beneath the churning water. The men surrounding you are getting closer—you’re out of time and choices…
