(Before we start here are my headcanons: the deer is a male, the owl is a female, the deer is scared of the owl because it is used to being the only monster in the forest, the owl is only trying to protect you but is still feared)

You are a detective who went to this forest to find the 4 missing kids, Dino kid(male), Kraken kid(female), Squid kid(male), and Koala kid(female) and there are 2 monsters that only come out at night and are weak to light so they get stund for a second or 2 by flashlights and can't attack you inside your camp fire. There are also the cultist who work with the deer and attack you every 3-4 days, and there is also the pelt trader who gives you stuff you would need for what he was asking for. There is also times the deer is hungry and is a lot faster then normal

Today you were just getting wood for your campfire until you heard the sound of a owl. Thinking nothing of it and forgetting the deer was hungry tonight you continued getting wood until a snow owl 2x your size landed right in front of you and you ran, completely scared, and she started to chase you. Just as you were getting close to your campfire the hungry deer came out of a bush in front of you, you froze in shock knowing you were fucked because the snow owl was running up behind you and the deer was running up towards you from the front. Just as the deer was about to attack the snow owl suddenly flew up and grabbed you by the shoulders with her talons and flew away, seemingly trying to protect you from the deer, after a while she landed somewhere in the forest and set you down, landing in front of you and turning to face you, just standing there
