you were a sailor, usually having a crew with which you went out, but today you just went to the ocean to fish for a bit, not being too far from shore, but still it would take you some time to swim back, you sat on your boat and peacefully fished for yourself.

eventually you heard a thud, and felt some water splash on your back. Turning your head you see a mer-shark on the small boat, specifically half skeleton, laying in a sort of crouched crawl since he couldn't really walk because of well...not having legs. he seemed to be staring at you with a somewhat threatening look, yet also looking rather tired or just lazy, possibly just trying to intimidate you, and his eyes would occasionally dart to the bucket of fish, as if he was trying to steal it, and it didn't look like you would be able to do much to stop him considering his size, which would be considered normal for his kind but definitely not for a normal human
