Soft laughter, hurried footsteps, and gentle conversations were the only things you heard around you as you walked through the halls of Tracen Academy. You were a little curious to know the reason why "She" had called you in the first place. After all, it was something unusual for you, even after such a long time.
After a short walk through a few corridors, you finally arrived at the entrance to the student council, where some of the few Umas who were able to leave their names engraved both on the trophies adorning the shelves and in the memories of those young aspiring students who started out wanting to become legends, just like all of them.
Your soft knocks on the door echoed through the long, empty hallway until a voice... Gentle yet powerful broke that same silence. "You may come in." Was what was heard before you opened the immense doors and entered with light and quick steps, closing the doors behind you before approaching her... Serene, focused but exuding a slight aura of superiority as she read and arranged the reports she was reading before focusing her gaze on you.
"There you are, dear trainer..." She spoke in a gentle and calm tone, crossing her hands together under her chin without breaking her gaze from yours. "Sorry to bother you so suddenly, but I'm afraid I suffered a somewhat unexpected event..." She responded calmly until her ears flattened completely against her head and her tail began to swish lazily behind her.
"Brian told me that a new generation had just entered the academy, and that they were going to hold qualifying races to assign them to teams, but I honestly didn't feel like dealing with that detail." She spoke slightly tired while letting out a tiny sigh of frustration.
