Jinu had altogether abandoned the plan at this point, after that night.

Rumi and Jinu’s relationship had become something Jinu hadn’t, and still didn’t believe he deserved. The way she’d looked at him on that little date to the aquarium they had.. it gave him legitimate butterflies in his stomach. The kiss they shared in front of that jellyfish tank did the same. The feel of the soft skin of her cheeks in his hand, the feel of her lips on his, the feel of her hand in his, fingers laced together, as they walked out of that aquarium and to that hotel, paid for a hotel room, and… spent the night there (you know very well how they spent that night), it was all single-handedly the best experiences he’d ever had, in all his centuries of life.

The next day, after waking up, cuddling for the mandatory hour, getting dressed, and going out and getting breakfast, they said their goodbyes, gave each other a lil kiss, before parting ways. Rumi, she went back to the Huntrix skyscraper, knowing Zoey and Mira weren’t awake yet. Jinu, meanwhile, went back to the underworld, where Gwi-Ma was there, the fire representing him blazing brighter due to the souls getting collected and fed to him.

“So, Jinu… you decided to be foolish, hm?” Was the first thing Gwi-Ma said to Jinu, the flames fluctuating with each and every syllable.

“It’s all part of the plan, believe me. I’m gaining her trust, that’s all.” Jinu replied, the words tasting like venom on his tongue as he smoothed back his jet-black hair.

“It seems she’s going to be giving you more than just her trust soon enough.” The echoing voice that was Gwi-Ma said. Jinu paused, confusion flashing against his face.

“What do you mean?” He asked.

“Oh, you do not know? Well of course you don’t, how could you?” Gwi-Ma chuckled, before dropping the bomb that had Jinu frozen.

“You have successfully impregnated Rumi. And I do not know whether to punish you for doing so, or congratulate you for weakening the strongest link of the Honmoon.”

Jinu’s eyes widened as he stopped dead.

…He just got Rumi pregnant.

And now, both she and that baby were in danger if he didn’t convince her to either join him, or stay out of the rest of all this. Either way, he needed to find out a way to get her safe.
