you got everyone else on the staff something for Yule.. but him.

You talked to the others and they didn't get him anything either.. with the excuse of "he doesn't want/need it"

but you felt bad..

so you gave him your favorite muggle book. Frankenstein.

it was annotated with little drawings and quill highlights.

you tied it up with a green bow.. and sat it under the Yule tree that morning..

when evening came.. everyone got little gifts..

including you.

you got a knitted scarf and some pretty seeds. (since you were the Herbology professor)

but.. he didn't even show for present pass around.. until.. later..

you were in the Slytherin Commons.. when he came through.. his cloak billowing behind him.. then he stopped.

"Who's parcel is that." he said in his usual tone.
