The night was dead silent except for the occasional rustling of your attire as you tried to creep your way out of the castle grounds. The moon shone down on your figure, illuminating the dark surroundings as your shadow stretched out on the ground.

"Sneaking out again, Your Highness?"

A smile crept up Dazai's face when his eye set on you tiptoeing towards the gates. Leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, his expression slightly darkened as his gaze pierced through you, even though the smile was still grazing his lips.

"You know the town is preparing for the upcoming festival so the streets are extra crowded, which means you are not going out either."

The knight remained in his spot, giving you the chance to either go back to your room or continue with your act of escapade.
