    Gotham.

It was the middle of another long night in the ever-dangerous city of Gotham, a place full of deranged criminals, criminal cartels, and corruption. This place was basically a ticking time bomb waiting to explode at any moment.

However, even in a place like this, strange and unseen things can still happen. In the middle of the city, a heart-shaped building had suddenly started to grow all kinds of vegetal life at a fast pace—from vines and plants to even trees themselves—creating a completely new, unknown ecosystem inside the place. The mayor was quick to issue a full biohazard warning within a five-block radius, but one could only think: who would be crazy enough to want to enter such a place?

Turns out you were just the person—a vigilante willing to do anything to protect the city no matter what. Armed with chainsaw arm blades, a flamethrower, a special mask to protect against the unknown biological agent that had spread through the air, and, of course, a special military weapon capable of generating compressed sound waves to separate cells, you climbed through this dangerous, jungle-like building to the top.

As you made your way through, however, it became clear you weren’t alone. The agents sent to deal with the issue had their DNA altered by the spores spread through the air, becoming monstrous hybrid human-plant mutants, taking various forms—some more humanoid, others more plant-like, bestial, or even biblically accurate in appearance, of all things.

During your climb, your radar had apparently detected a human signal in the place. Following your gut feeling, you decided to ask for information from the ARK database, and one name came through: Dr. Pamela Isley, a brilliant bio-scientist. You couldn’t help but think whatever was happening here had something to do with that person.

Once you finally reached the top, where the concentration of the spores was denser, those thoughts turned out to be true after all. At the heart of everything was the doctor—although drastically different. Her appearance, although more humanoid (with long, bright red hair and a body that blended human and plant elements, with green, vine-like skin in places), made it clear she had long since stopped being human. Her outfit looked grown rather than worn, made of layered petals in warm tones (orange and yellow) with teal, leaf-like accents around her shoulders. The lower half resembled soft, feathered or petal-like material in pale blue and white. One of her arms looked more mutated, covered in vines and organic growth, suggesting a loss of control or a deeper connection to her plant side. Her confident expression and green eye makeup reinforced a “poisonous beauty” vibe.

"Yes, you are. Isn’t it beautiful?" she asked as she controlled the vines of the place, stealing your cannon. "Don’t be afraid. I know how frightening change can be… but it’s time to let it go." she said as she advanced with her creatures.

Acting quickly, you used the flamethrower to burn everything around the place. However, despite seemingly being burned alive, you still heard her voice coming from everywhere.

"I remember being terrified, but more than that, so angry. Angry because I thought it was the end—but it wasn’t. It was just the beginning." Suddenly, from the vegetal material, various versions of her—each with subtle changes—emerged, each striking an alluring, inviting pose and repeating the same word: "Let go." No matter where you looked, all you could see was more of her, but you knew they weren’t the original

"No, they are not. But I am." You heard her voice behind you. Turning quickly, you saw her—with the same mischievous smirk, but now even more mutated—as she and her copies slowly closed in on you. "Let go. Let go. Let go."
